7. Cape Cod Chamber Ensemble,, In-School Concerts. This project will <br /> consist of two back-to-back concerts/demonstrations given by the ensemble. <br /> Grades fair and five and possibly third w11 be the targeted grades. The <br /> committee agreed to fully sword this project for S385. <br /> 8. Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra Association, 'Especially For 1(ids" <br /> Concert. Student from Mashpee and surrounding Cape towns will have the <br /> opportunity to participate in this concert to be held April 1, 1995 at the <br /> Mattachee Middle School. The committee agreed to award S250. towards this <br /> project. <br /> APPLICANTS NOT IN ATTENDANCE: <br /> 9. Elizabeth Schultze,, Music For Schools-An Instrumental Ensemble. This <br /> project offer four programs individually tailored for school classes K 12. The <br /> committee did not award money due to lack of funding. <br /> 10. Martin Luther King Jr. Society,.Youth improvisational Workshop. This <br /> program has been in operation for over 20 years gives an afferschool workshop <br /> in improvisational acting and theater techniques to Mashpee youth. The <br /> committee ogreed to award this project the full amount request S300. <br /> 11. John A. Smialek, Free Concert of Brass Music in Moshpee. A free 1 1/2 <br /> hour concert by the New England Brass Quartet. the commiffee did not award <br /> money due to lack of funding. <br /> 12. Yankee Notions,Concert/New England Folk Music. An early evening <br /> concert of hadfional New England songs and stores. The committee did not <br /> award money due to lock of funding. <br /> 13. David Bates,,Down Home New England: Stories&Songs for all Ages. <br /> The committee did not award money due to ladc of funding. <br /> 14. Roger fincknell and Davis Bates,Stories and songs of New England <br /> Families. The committee did not award money due to lack of funding. <br /> 15. Zelterlon Theatre,, Inc.,,School-Time Performances at Cape Cod <br /> Community College. Alist of potential presentations and artists is being compiled, <br /> The committee agreed to award to award this project the full amount request of <br /> $150, <br /> 16.Roger Tincknell, Across the Americas: A Folk Music Journey. This project <br /> theme is a mult�culfural, mufti-lingual journey across America. The committee <br /> did not award money due to lack of funding. <br /> 17. John Porcino Storyteller/Singer,Story&Song Mogic.
