7. Cape Cod Chamber Ensemble,, In-School Concerts. This project will consist of two back-to-back concerts/demonstrations given by the ensemble. Grades fair and five and possibly third w11 be the targeted grades. The committee agreed to fully sword this project for S385. 8. Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra Association, 'Especially For 1(ids" Concert. Student from Mashpee and surrounding Cape towns will have the opportunity to participate in this concert to be held April 1, 1995 at the Mattachee Middle School. The committee agreed to award S250. towards this project. APPLICANTS NOT IN ATTENDANCE: 9. Elizabeth Schultze,, Music For Schools-An Instrumental Ensemble. This project offer four programs individually tailored for school classes K 12. The committee did not award money due to lack of funding. 10. Martin Luther King Jr. Society,.Youth improvisational Workshop. This program has been in operation for over 20 years gives an afferschool workshop in improvisational acting and theater techniques to Mashpee youth. The committee ogreed to award this project the full amount request S300. 11. John A. Smialek, Free Concert of Brass Music in Moshpee. A free 1 1/2 hour concert by the New England Brass Quartet. the commiffee did not award money due to lack of funding. 12. Yankee Notions,Concert/New England Folk Music. An early evening concert of hadfional New England songs and stores. The committee did not award money due to lock of funding. 13. David Bates,,Down Home New England: Stories&Songs for all Ages. The committee did not award money due to ladc of funding. 14. Roger fincknell and Davis Bates,Stories and songs of New England Families. The committee did not award money due to lack of funding. 15. Zelterlon Theatre,, Inc.,,School-Time Performances at Cape Cod Community College. Alist of potential presentations and artists is being compiled, The committee agreed to award to award this project the full amount request of $150, 16.Roger Tincknell, Across the Americas: A Folk Music Journey. This project theme is a mult�culfural, mufti-lingual journey across America. The committee did not award money due to lack of funding. 17. John Porcino Storyteller/Singer,Story&Song Mogic.
