MASHPEE COUNCILON AGING <br /> JULY 9, 1991, <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT ALSO PRESENT <br /> r <br /> Iii Mullin, Chairperson Janes Long <br /> Frank dicks Lynne Waterman <br /> Aurora Bird Betty Nichols <br /> Jean Noussee Phyllis Spiller <br /> Josephine Blunda <br /> The Chairman opened the meting at 9:06 AM in the Lounge of the Carol H. Jacobson <br /> Senior Center. <br /> The Secretary's report for June was provided. There were no corrections. On a -notion <br /> made by Aurora Bird and seconded by Jean Noussee the minutes were accepted. <br /> In the absence o : rthur Weinstein, Mr. Long presented a verbal Treasurer"s report. He <br /> speculated that we would spend 90% of the 1997 operating budget. A full report will b <br /> available next month. n a motion made Frank Dicks and seconded b Aurora Bird, the <br /> T'reasurer's report was accepted. <br /> The Director presented his verbal report with a brief discussion of eah iters includincr a <br /> thank you to Lynne for her planning of the Volunteer Brunch. He also mentioned the <br /> installation of new exterior lighting over the past month and the building rekeying <br /> peoject. On a motion made by Frank Dicks and seconded by Aurora Bird, the report was <br /> accepted. <br /> The Outreach Coordinator presented her report both verbally and in writing. Mention <br /> was made of the Brunch, Bar-B-Que, some client assistance and needs, the Barnstable <br /> adult Day Health program etc. On a motion mored by Jean Nou see and seconded by <br /> Aurora Bird, the report of the Outreach Coordinator was accepted. <br /> Mr. Long reviewed briefly some old and new business including some discussion on the <br /> status of the Temporary giver position and Kitchen-renovations. Triad was also <br /> discussed. <br /> i Jean Nousee norrrinated the existing slate of officers for the year 1998. Frank Hicks <br /> seconded. The motion was approved. Mimi Mullin was elected Chairperson, Betty.hones <br /> as Vice-chairpersonSecretary and Arthur Weinstein as Steretary <br /> On a notion made by Jean Iousee and seconded by Aurora Bird, the meeting adjourned <br /> t 10:25 AA _ r <br />
