discussed that night, but the 50-foot buffer was discussed. Mr. Homeyer stated that he sees no reason
to further tie the housing authority's hands by signing such a covenant. A motion had been made by
Mr. Laporte to table this item to the next regular meeting on Thursday, March 28, 2007. Mr.
Halpern seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Mrs. Botsford stated she'would get in touch with the attorney. She stated that the attorney is familiar
with both the ZBA decision and the suggested covenant so it should not be a problem getting a response
from him before the next meeting. Mr. Brady pointed out that the ZBA board's decision states that the
board (ZBA) would have no say in how the $25,000 is spent. He asked that he be notified of the next
meeting. Mr. Laporte stated that the regular meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month
at 5:30 PM and they are public meetings and that our schedule is posted at town hall. Next meeting is
Thursday, March 28, 2007, Mr. Brady stated to Mr. Homeyer that he is a little surprised at the attitude.
Mr. Homeyer said it is strictly his opinion, not the board's. The board thanked Mr. Brady for coming and
Mrs. Botsford told him that she would be in touch.
COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: None that haven't already been discussed.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 5:30 PM. A motion was trade
by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Homeyer to adjourn. The motion carried. The meeting
was adjourned at 6:43 P.M.
R7Kx'
i
&- f-
ila otsfor , etary
utive Direc r
Attachment A:
Executive Director's Report
For the month of January 2007
Program update:
Homeyer Village/667: We had all rents paid in full and we are at 100% occupancy.
Breezy Acres/705: We had all rents paid in full and we are at 100% occupancy.
Misc.:
• I attended the SHADO (Small Housing Authority Directors Organization) meeting, the SMEDA
(Southeastern Massachusetts Executive Director's Association), the Mashpee Human Services
meeting and did the training for the Western Mass.
