TREASURER'S REPORT. <br /> Budget to Actual Deport. Mrs. Botsford presented the budget to actual report, prepared by the fee <br /> -r accountant, and reviewed it with the board, explaining the variances. <br /> Accounts Payables:_ Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the months of April and May 2013 and total as follows: For April: $29,786.84 for 4601, <br /> $5,095.80 for Section 8, $15,867.00 for M VP, $45,960.13 for A herrs Path Apartments and $11,507-58 <br /> for the Housing Assistance Program. For May: $35,823.69 for 4001, $4,851.80 for Section 8, $17,145.00 <br /> for MF VP, $33,216.37 for Asher's Path Apartments and $10,900.04 for the Housing Assistance Program. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have all residents paid in full at all developments, We have one vacancy at <br /> Breezy Acres, one at Homeyer Village and a fever at Ash is Path. The process is underway for selecting <br /> new residents for all units. A motion was made by Ms. Allen and seconded by Mr, Shackett t <br /> accept the treasurer's report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE IF E T R DEPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford railed members her written reports for April and May and added the following report: <br /> • Health & Safety projects that vire received special funding for are both done and under budget b <br /> $ 00 <br /> • State auditor care back for three days to review our computer information technology security. <br /> While here Mrs. Botsford inquired on how they calculated a vacancy loss of$4,000.00 because it <br /> seemed high. After reviewing how the auditor had calculated the number of days allowed 1 <br /> WORKING days vs. calendar days) he agreed that an adjustment was needed down to $1,652.24 <br /> ($1,392.66 for 667 and $259.44 for 705). <br /> • CPC supported our application for additional HAP funding. It will go before town meeting in <br /> October. <br /> • Quote for generator at Asher's Path carne in at $189,010.00 so we will be unable to afford to do <br /> this. <br /> • Quote was requested for raised garden areas at Asher's Path and it was approximately $11,009, <br /> so we will be unable to afford to Ifo this. <br /> • The regular meeting with residents normally held this month is cancelled, as there are no <br /> suggested agenda :terns. <br /> • Mrs. Botsford and Mr. Harsch, as well as carol Mitchell, Executive Assistant, attended the dinner <br /> at MassNAHl "s spring conference and we were awarded an Outstanding Agency Award for our <br /> Mashpee Housing Assistance Program. <br /> • Mrs. Botsford was totally surprised to also be award the Ma sNAHRO Member of the year award <br /> that evening. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Breezy Acres Expansion/Great Cove Community U date: Mrs. Botsford gave the board an update on the <br /> progress that has been made including that the closing has taken place and everything has been recorded <br /> at the registry of deeds. Tree clearing will start Monday. The first meeting was had for the Septic <br /> Treatment Tie In and Lift Station . Official ground breaking ceremonies will probably not take place until <br /> sometime in August, due to everyone's vacation schedules. Things will be roving along throughout the <br /> summer for both projects. <br /> Town land available: Mr. Harsch went to the selectmen's meeting in April and they gave approval for us <br /> to get a feasibility study done for the Ashumet Road parcel across from Heritage Par 19.1 <br /> acres). Mrs. Botsford checked with the cape cod Commission to see if they have any grants <br /> available but they do not. Mr. Halpern mentioned that the Affordable Housing Committee got a <br /> grant through a state agency to get a feasibility study done for a piece of land they are <br /> interested in.
