t. MASHPEE COUNCIL ON AGING NOVEMBER 109 1999 MEMBERS PRESENT ALSO PRESENT Iimi Mullin, Chairperson Janes Long, Director Betty Jones, V. Chair./Sec. Lynne Waterman, Outreach Coordinator Arthur Weinstein, Treasurer Betty Nichols, Pres. Friends of CoA Jean loussee Robert Osborn ABSENT Aurora Bird Frank Hi&s s Mimi Mullin opened the meeting at 9:05 AM in the Conference Room at the Carol H. Jacobson Senior Center. Arthur Weinstein made a motion to accept the Secretary's Report as written and it was seconded by Jean loussee. So moved. The Treasurer's Report was handed out and discussed. All categories are within normal range for this time of the year. Bob Osborn made a motion to accept the treasurer's Report and it was seconded by Betty Jones. So moved. The Director's Report was handed out and discussed. The new irrigation system is being completed after problems developed with the existing well and pump. The financing for the new irrigation system will be spllit between Repair& maintenance, Donation and Town account. The new well will be paid for out of the Donation account. The issue of constructing a shed for storage at the Thrift Shop will be presented to the selectmen for approval. The Friends will bear the expense of constructing and maintaining the shed. Betty Jones made a motion to accept the report as written and it was seconded by Arthur Weinstein. So moved. The outreach Coordinator's Report was handed out and discussed. Lynne is in the process of connecting gree new volunteers with the Regional SSE Coordinator for future training. Several visits were made by the Coordinator to assist in fuel assistance applications. Bob Osborn made a motion to accept the Outreach Coordinator's Report as Witten and it was seconded by Jean l oussee. So moved. Names were submitted by Council-members for the Planning Committee.
