MASIVEE COUNCEL ON AGING TOWN' OF' '['IASWPEE "N CLERK FEBRUARY 9, 2000 T 0 00 M-AR 2 A, 8* 3 0 MEMBERS PRESENT AT,So,FRESENT Nfimi Mullin, Chairperson. Jim Long, Director -etty Jones, V. Chair./Secretary Lynne Waterman, Outreach Coordinator Arthur Weinstein, Treasurer Betty Nichols, Pre.s.,Friends of CA Aurora Bird Jing Miller,,Exec. Director Frank wicks Boys and Girls Club Jeanne Nouee ABSENT F Bob obom The Chairperson opened the meeting at 9:20 AM in the Conference Room at the Carol H. Jacobson Senor Center. Jinn Miller, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club attended the meeting. He explained the different programs that are available at the Boys and Girls Club and invited the Council to hold their March meeting at the Club. Jinn NEller also offered the use of the facilities while the children are in school during the day. Arthur Weinstein made a motion to accept the Secretary's Report of December as written and it was seconded by Frank Hicks .. So Moved. Arthur Weinstein handed out the Treasurer's Report and everthing is in order. Betty Jones made a motion to accept the report as written and it was seconded by Frank Hicks. So moved. The Director handed out his report and it was discussed. The director is a member of the Complete Count Conunittee and is actively involved in promoting the census.to be conducted in April. The Town Administrator has approved a clerical position to be brought to the Selectmen and Finance Committee for approval at Tern Meeting. The Director has been named to serve as Chairman of the ESCCI Planning Committee. Frank Hicks made a motion to accept the Director's'Report and it was seconded by Betty Jones. So moved. suggestion was made to have someone greet new people when they core to the Center. notion was made by Arthur Weinstein to relet a donation from all parties that collect dues. The motion was seconded by Jeanne No e. So moved.
