TOWN <br /> M shpee Connell on Aging Committee N �t-E R��� <br /> June 10,2003 0 3 A UG 131 A I 10 tr.3 I <br /> Members Present: Arthur Weinstein, Chairperson <br /> Jeanne Noussee, Vice Chairperson <br /> Regina Godfrey, Treasurer <br /> Marijo Dorney, Secretary <br /> Leila Botsford <br /> Ed Dombrowski <br /> Members Absent: Bob Osborn <br /> Mini Mullin <br /> Also Present: Jim Long <br /> Lynne Waterman <br /> The Chairperson opened the meeting at 9-.,05 a. . in the conference room at Mashpee <br /> Seniors Center. <br /> The Secretary's report from may was reviewed with a motion to accept, with some <br /> corrections, by Arthur Weinstein and seconded by Jeanne Noussee. So moved. <br /> Jim Long was delayed at a meeting, so the Outreach Coordinator's report was read fuv. <br /> Outreach Coordinator's Report—Success story for Mary Lou Homed. Her grant will <br /> roll over. Talked about canvassing volunteers and about their enthusiasm for providing <br /> access to seniors. Lyme stated that she intends to meet with the group once a month to <br /> provide supervision. She also spoke abort the importance of diversity training for <br /> volunteers. Motion to accept report was moved by Ed Dombrowski and seconded by <br /> Jeanne Noussee. <br /> Treasurer questioned line item concerning "Longevity." Arn explained that Lynne has <br /> 10 years of service and he has 5 years--which accounted for that charge in salary for <br /> there. Also questioned was the expense attributed to the van and what the status was for <br /> receiving a new vehicle. Jinn replied that he is waiting for information from the regional <br /> Trasport Authority for a timeline on that. Also discussed was the possibility of <br /> revolving account for the bus--do we want to charge a fee,what other centers are <br /> charging, etc. No resolution of this issue. Motion to accept report moved by Jeanne <br /> loussee and seconded by Ed Dombrowski, <br /> IRECo9S SPORT <br /> Council meeting for August will be held at Town Hall. <br /> At volunteer Breakfast—Russ Maloney was honored as the Most Valuable Volunteer, <br /> William Johnston as the Senior Citizen of the Year, and mon GUXM*ck and Evelyn <br /> Dudley as the volunteer Rookies of the Year. <br />
