4 <br /> VOLUNTEERS <br /> Lynne met with new volunteer, who agreed to do friendly visiting. She <br /> trained volunteer Betty Walton to assist with the taking of fuel assistance <br /> applications. Due to the economic downturn, Lynne anticipates a very busy <br /> fuel assistance season, and has already received several calls inquiring about <br /> how to obtain help with fuel costs. In addition to herself, she will be <br /> utilizing three volunteers for this program. <br /> Lynne continues to meet monthly with the biography, flower delivery, <br /> teleffiend and ffiendly visitor assistant volunteers, to provide supervision. <br /> MEETINGS/CONTACTS—Lynne met with the President of the Capers, <br /> and Susan Fernald of Home Instead, regarding criteria for seniors to be <br /> included In our holiday gift program. <br /> Lastly, she attended the monthly meeting of the Upper Cape Consortium. <br /> NEW BUSINESS- <br /> Jack Jordan who has a longstanding association with the Capers, h <br /> a been <br /> invited to join the Board. <br /> Thea being no fuirther business, the motion to adjourn was offered and <br /> approved and the meeting adjourned at 10:30 am. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Tanimy <br /> Secretary <br />
