Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> August 2 , 2005 <br /> NEW 1RNSS: <br /> Ratification of Land Purchases: <br /> The Committee voted on the following articles that were previously <br /> approved at Town Meeting for land space acquisition. The articles were <br /> approved using land bank funds. The Committee approved the purchase <br /> of the referenced land acquisitions with money moved from the Land <br /> Bank to be purchased under the Community Preservation Act. <br /> A.!Lag-Lu*n Park/Coll ins Dane - $1,45 0 000: <br /> Motion made by Ms. Dane to ratify the Annual Town Meeting vote o <br /> May 2,2005,Article#19 land identified on the 2004 Assessor's Maps <br /> as Map 28,Block 3,Map 36,Block 10 and Map 36 Block 80, <br /> consisting of 9 acres more or less,located between Attaquin Park and <br /> Collins Dane for purchase under the Community Preservation Act. <br /> Motion seconded by Ms. Buschenfeldt. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Mashpee Place - $3,500,000: <br /> Motion made by IIs. Kane to ratify the Annual Town Meeting vote of <br /> May 2,2005 Article# o land identified on the 2004 Assessor's Maps <br /> as Map 67,Blocks 76 and 77, and Map 68, Blocks 104 and los <br /> consisting of 16 acres more or less identified as Mashpee Place for <br /> purchase under the Community Preservation Act. <br /> Motion seconded by IVIS. Buschenfeldt. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> Corres ondence from Mashpee Tribal Council: <br /> Correspondence was received from the 1lashpee Warnpanoag Tribal <br /> Council dated August 10, 2005 inquiring as to the procedure to apply for <br /> funds from the Community Preservation Fund for historical buildings. <br /> The Tribal Council is seeking assistance with the renovation of the Old <br /> Indian Meeting Douse. It was agreed a letter would be submitted to the <br /> Tribal Council regarding the Committee's intention of developing <br /> guidelines at heir next meeting. <br />
