Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> September 2 ,2005 <br /> Present; Wayne Taylor, Ed Larkin, Beverly Dane, Evelyn Buschenfeldt, <br /> Gus Frederick, Paula.Peters, Richard Halpern <br /> Absent: Diane Rommelmey r, Ralph Shaw <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room #1, <br /> MMT S: <br /> Tuesday, - st 2 , 2005.Reu-lar Session: <br /> Notion made by Mr. Lamin to approve the minuteg of <br /> Tuesday,August 23,2005 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Ms. Kane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Mr. Halpern abstained. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE, <br /> Copnunity Preservation Coalition Iletin on October 22# 2005 <br /> 1 <br /> regional Community Preservation Coalition meeting Will be held on <br /> Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Sandwich High School from 8:30 a.m. <br /> to 3:30 p.m. Members of the Mashpee Community Preservation Act <br /> Committee were encouraged to attend the conference. Dorrie Pizzelia., <br /> executive director of the Community Preservation Coalition will chair the <br /> presentation. The Community Preservation Coalition is a statewide non- <br /> profit agency that helps communities to implement the Community <br /> Preservation Act. <br /> Offer to Sell Land to Committee: <br /> Correspondence was received from Gerald Umina dated September 31, <br /> 2005 regarding a 7 to 8 acre parcel of land known as 53 Payamps Road for <br /> the Committee's consideration to acquire the land for its preservation. <br /> Mr. Umina is the Trustee for its owners, Algonquin Realty Trust. The <br /> Burn of$7009000 is requested for the parcel which is adjacent to town <br /> owned land. The matter was taken under advisement at this time. <br />
