Commumty Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 145 2006 5 <br /> OTHER BUSMSS: <br /> CPC T i-melinelPro'ected Bud et: <br /> Applications received on or before the date of April 1, 2006 will be <br /> considered by the CPC Committee for funding at the October 2006 <br /> Annual Town Meeting. <br /> It was agreed that all applicants would be interviewed to review in detail, <br /> heir project submission and related application. The Committee would <br /> then deliberate and prioritize projects for fading in Open Session. <br /> Recommendations ns for CPC funding will then be presented to the Board of <br /> Selectmen for approval and placement on the warrant. The deadline for <br /> an article to be placed on the October warrant is Monday,July 3, 2006. <br /> The sum of$1,394,791 is anticipated to be available for projects that <br /> qualify for funding. The arnount includes a one time reimbursement from <br /> the Cape Cod Co' <br /> rrm fission for Mashpee Place in the amount of$453,06+7. <br /> A minimum of 10% or approximately$139,000 is required to be spent or <br /> set aside for future spending on open space(excluding recreational <br /> Poses),historic preservation,and community housing. The remaining <br /> 0 of funds may be allocated to any one or a combination of the three <br /> main uses, including public recreational purposes. <br /> Up to % of the annual CPA ids may he spent on the operation and <br /> administration costs of the Community Preservation Committee. The sum <br /> of$25,000 approved at Town Meeting has been set aside for this purpose <br /> and would be deducted from the antici <br />
