Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> January 17, 2007 <br /> Present: Wayne Taylor, Ed Larkin, Beverly Dane, Richard Halpern, Ralph Shaw, <br /> Evelyn Buschenfeldt, Paula Peters, Gus Frederick <br /> Absent: Diane Rommelmeyer <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Fd Larkin, Clerk at :1 o p.m. <br /> Town Mall, Conference Room. #3 <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Tuesday9.November 14, 200 —R Session; <br /> Motion made by Mr. Shaw to approve the minutes of Tuesday, <br /> November 14,2006 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Halpern* <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Mr. Taylor,Mr. Fredericks absent for vote. <br /> Ms. Peters abstained. <br /> OLD BUSINESS.- <br /> Liaison <br /> USINESS:Liaison AssignentslRole—Committee Reports: <br /> Members of the CPC Committee reported on October 2006 Torn <br /> Meeting approved CPA funded projects. <br /> Hgfilne Park ELcpansion.-Phase I:$192,500 <br /> It was noted the Phase II portion of the project proposal is before the CPC <br /> Committee for funding consideration-at the May 2007 Town fleeting. <br /> The Department of Public Worts is the responsible party to perform <br /> preliminary site work for the intended projects. In a cost saving effort,the <br /> Assistant Director of Public Worts has recommended to rough grade the <br /> playing fields in both phases simultaneously. The initial work if approved <br /> i would not have a significant impact to the Phase I budget. The DPW has <br /> already rough graded and prepared the parking lot to the gravel base as <br /> noted in Phase 11 of the Heritage Park Expansion project proposal. The <br /> Committee requested a cost analysis for the planned rough grade site work <br /> to be performed within the budget for Phase I. It was disclosed Phase II o <br /> the project has not been approved to date. The Committee will deliberate � <br /> and consider all projects at the next meeting. <br />
