Ms. Martffiez noted there are not enough reserves to <br /> consider the prof ect within the normal budget process of The Coa y. <br /> udders. Funding would not be used for maintenance. <br /> It was noted that Mashpee village has an existing agreement with the <br /> Mashpee Housing Authority MHA to rent thirty-eight affordable units. <br /> FIs. Martinez was requested to review the number of units,to include <br /> bedroom units that are presently rented to the MHA. <br /> Leila Botsford—Mashpee Housing Authority—Rental Assistance <br /> Pro arn—Phase 1: <br /> Leila Botsford,Executive Director of the Mashpee Housing Authority was <br /> in attendance to discuss the MHA project application seeking funding of a <br /> Rental Assistance Program. <br /> The new program is presented in gree phases. CPA funding i the <br /> amount of$110,000 is sought to begin Phase I to create rental assistance. <br /> The first preference would be given to applicants who live ad work in the <br /> Town of Mashpee. Phase lI considers a security deposit pr gram and <br /> Phase III considers a hone buyers assistance program.
