Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> .lune 109 200 8 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Liaison Assignments Update: <br /> Mills Family Lands: <br /> Robert Mills,Attorney for the Mills Family Landss-i scheduled to meet <br /> with the Torn Manager and Chairman of the CPC to discuss the status of <br /> the Mills property approved at the May 2007 Town Meeting. <br /> May 2008 Town Meeting Article 49: <br /> Article 9 of the May 2008 Town fleeting warrant was approved <br /> appropriating $142,483.71 from surplus bond proceeds to pay the costs o <br /> designing, constructing and equipping a Fuel Depot. <br /> The question was asked as to why the surphis bond proceeds from the <br /> Land Bank which include the Peck property land purchase, Melia property <br /> land purchase, and Ilashpee Place land purchase would not revert to the <br /> CPC reserves. <br /> In response, communication from the Ton Manager has indicated that <br /> actual Land Bank funds were not used. The funds -ere left over Brom <br /> what was borrowed to purchase the properties. It was also the <br /> determination of Bond Counsel that the proceeds could he used for the <br /> Fuel Depot. <br /> i <br />
