6 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> June 10, 2008 <br /> NEW BUSINESS. <br /> Liaison Assignments: <br /> One Room Schoolhouse—Richard Halpern <br /> St. Vincent's Property—Ralph Shaw, Beverly Kane, Evelyn luschenfeldt <br /> Deliberations—Mshpee Rental Assistance Arran : <br /> Due to the upconning July deadline for the submission of articles for the <br /> October 2008 Town Meeting warrant, the CPC agreed to deliberate on the <br /> one article received for CPA funding consideration. <br /> The Committee related concerns with respect to the proposed new <br /> program that sloes not have a trach record or fund g conditions for the <br /> future implementation off'the pr.o ra . Also,the initiative does s riot-help <br /> the Town to maintain its 10% affordable housing needs. <br /> In support of the project, it was noted that Ms. Botsford maintains a good <br /> track record and is responsible with Housing Authority projects. <br /> Upon deliberation,the CAC agreed to defer the project to May ager <br /> additional research and review of the Town of Chatham's program. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Larkin to refer the Mashpee Rental Assistance <br /> Program—Phase L <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Halpern. <br /> VOTE: 7-1. Motion carries. <br /> Mr. Halpern in opposition. <br />
