2 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> September 9, 200 <br /> Present: Wayne Taylor, Ed Larkin, Richard Halpern, Beverly Dane, <br /> Evelyn luscherifeldt, Paula Peters <br /> Absent: Diane Rommlemeyer,Ralph Shaw, Gus Frederick <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6;00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room# <br /> MWUTES: <br /> Tuesday.,August 12, 2008 <br /> Motion made by Ms. Buschenfeldt to approve the minutes of <br /> Tuesday,August I ,2008 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr.Larkin. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> Mr. Taylor,Ms. Lane abstained. <br /> APPOINTMENTS &HEARINGS. <br /> Leila Botsford..,-Breezy,Acres Exanion Pro t: <br /> Leila Botsford, Executive Director of the Ma.shpee Housing Authority was <br /> in attendance to update the CPC Committee on the Breezy Acres <br /> Expansion Project,Phase I and Phase 11. <br /> Phase I in the amount of$225,000 was approved at the May 2007 Town <br /> M ting to construct four new units of perpetually affordable, family <br /> rental housing on the site of existing family rental housing located at 570 <br /> Old Barnstable Road. <br /> Phase II in the amount of$225,,000 was approved at the October 2007 <br /> Town Meeting to construct one duplex eonsi tmng of two new units o <br /> "unrestricted"' affordable, family rental housing on the same site,property <br /> owned by the Housing Authority. <br /> f <br /> Breezy Acres currently has six units of affordable,rental family housing <br /> managed by the Mashpee Housing Authority. It was noted the Board of <br /> Selectmen recently waived all pluanbing and gas permit fees associated to <br /> the expansion project. <br />
