4 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> Tuesday, February 10, Zoo <br /> Liaison Assigriments Update: <br /> Herita a Park Phase II: <br /> Phase 11 of the Heritage Park expansion project is anticipated to be <br /> completed this spring as weather dictates. CPA funding in the amount of <br /> $337,000 was approved by the voters at the May 2007 Town Meeting for <br /> the second phase of the project which includes additional fields,the <br /> completion of a parking lot, picnic areas, walkways ways connecting to the <br /> facility, dugouts, an irrigation systems, landscaping and a security system. <br /> St. Vincent's—vin av n RLo <br /> ,perty• <br /> In May of 2008, CPA funding contributed$500,000 towards the purchase <br /> of 78.67 acres of undeveloped land located on Route 130. The DPW i <br /> expected to incorporate a parking area for community access this spring. <br /> The property has frontage on the Pickerel el Cove section of wal eby Pond. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> AMlication.Ike-submittal—John L. west: <br /> To date, the CPC has received one application for CPA funding <br /> consideration at the October 2009 Town Meeting. The application is a re- <br /> submittal from John L. west of 26 Russell Road,-Ma hpee for the <br /> development of affordable housing. <br /> The 11,500 square foot property is presented to the CPC for the potential <br /> purchase by the Tori using CPA funding for the acquisition and <br /> development of the lot for affordable housing.
