S Community Preservation Committee Minutes April 73 2009 The following funding is available it'the 10%reserves for October; Open Space $167,221 Historical $77,256 Affordable Dousing $167,221 In October 20091,the CPC Committee VAR vote to set the budgeted reserve and 10%reserves in the respective categories. As a result of the current debt,the Committee is not required to set aside 10%funding,for open space purposes. Articles also considered for the October 2009 Town Meeting Warrant include; The lulls Family Lands at Santuit Pond. The $720,000 open space project was approved at the May 2007 Town Meeting. As a result of the lifespan of Town Meeting articles and i appropriation of CPA funds, it is necessary to resubmit an article for the October warrant if the matter of dear title is not obtained within the next few months. OLD BUSfNESS:- Liaison Awn : x Restoration of the Old Indian Meetin use—Phase I: Work is near completion on Phase I of the Old Indian Meetinghouse restoration project, a$325,000 project approved by the voters at the October 2007 Town Meeting. It is hopeful the Tribe will secure CPA funding at the May 2009 Town Meeting to begin work on the interior of the building. With the recent reorganization of the Tribe,a new liaison is expected to be assigned to the project. Heritage Part —Phase II: � The Heritage Park project is also near completion. It is anticipated the re inner of funds will support the restoration of the basketball coin. It is a ti mated that$1500 is unaccounted for. Breezy Acres—Phase I &Phase 11: 4 A draft RFP has been prepared to bid for the Breezy Acres expansion project.
