As a result of the current <br /> debt,the Committee is not required to set aside 10%funding,for open <br /> space purposes. Articles also considered for the October 2009 Town <br /> Meeting Warrant include; The lulls Family Lands at Santuit Pond. The <br /> $720,000 open space project was approved at the May 2007 Town <br /> Meeting. As a result of the lifespan of Town Meeting articles and <br /> i appropriation of CPA funds, it is necessary to resubmit an article for the <br /> October warrant if the matter of dear title is not obtained within the next <br /> few months. <br /> OLD BUSfNESS:- <br /> Liaison Awn : <br /> x <br /> Restoration of the Old Indian Meetin use—Phase I: <br /> Work is near completion on Phase I of the Old Indian Meetinghouse <br /> restoration project, a$325,000 project approved by the voters at the <br /> October 2007 Town Meeting. <br /> It is hopeful the Tribe will secure CPA funding at the May 2009 Town <br /> Meeting to begin work on the interior of the building. With the recent <br /> reorganization of the Tribe,a new liaison is expected to be assigned to the <br /> project. <br /> Heritage Part —Phase II: � <br /> The Heritage Park project is also near completion. It is anticipated the <br /> re inner of funds will support the restoration of the basketball coin. It <br /> is a ti mated that$1500 is unaccounted for. <br /> Breezy Acres—Phase I &Phase 11: 4 <br /> A draft RFP has been prepared to bid for the Breezy Acres expansion <br /> project. <br />
