Including these invoices, the total expenditures will be$8,642.19, well below the approved budget of$24,000. Some work outlined in the original proposal was completed prior to,the CPA funding being available (fencing, water). Further savings were realized by donations (bench, sign) and changes in materials used (shell parking area instead of stone). Also, volunteers from Torn Hall worked with DPW to complete the project. Twenty garden plots have been provided for residents. Future expansion if demarnd-in reases can be completed at little additional expense. Heritage Pari Attached is an invoice for the above project. Including this invoice, the total expenditure's to dame will be $508,412.37. The balance of the available budget, $21,487.63 will be spent on completion of this project which is expected later this fall. Work still r oma ening includes adjustments to the backstop for the baseball field, completion of the skinned infield for the softball field, and installation of the backstop for the softball field. Except for the softball field, the rest of the property was used by both Mashpee Mouth Soccer and Mashpee Baseball during their 2010 seasons. The playground and walkways have been in use since their installation. With completion of this project, Heritage Para will provide a total of seven athletic fields, two playgrounds, and a regulation size Basketball court for use by residents, youth organizations, adult leagues, and others.
