2 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> September 8, 2009 <br /> Present: Wayne Taylor,Richard Halpern,Ed Larkin, Ralph Shaw, <br /> Evelyn Buschenfeldt, Tom O'Hara, Gus Frederick <br /> Absent: Diane Rommelmeyer <br /> Attendee: Frank Lord <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Taylor at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Town Hall, Conference Room#1 <br /> Due to technical difficulties,the meeting was not taped or televised. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Tuesday,June 23,2009: <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Buschenfeldt to approve the minutes of <br /> Tuesday,June 23,2009 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Larkin, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearing—Application Procedures for May 2010 Tawe Meeting <br /> The Community Preservation Committee opened the Public Hearing for <br /> the purpose of conducting a public informational meeting on the needs, <br /> possibilities and resources of the town as they relate to historic <br /> preservation, recreation,affordable housing and open space. <br /> The Hearing notice as publicized was read aloud into the record. At the <br /> hearing, the Community Preservation Committee discussed application <br /> procedures for the funding of projects at the Annual Town Meeting in <br /> May of 2010. <br /> The CPC opened the Public Hearing to solicit continent. <br /> Reverend Curtis Frye, Jr. Pastor of the Mashpec Baptist Church was in <br /> attendance with approximately thirty members of the parish to discuss the <br /> use of possible CPA funding to assist with the renovation and preservation <br /> of the church building. <br />
