Conservation Commission <br /> December 1 , 1993 <br /> Page 6. <br /> I <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stated water is coming from overwash. <br /> Mr. Ferguson pointed out a reserve area that would be inpacted by water that }. <br /> would get down below the reserve area. <br /> Question was raised if the septic has been moved back ten feet? <br /> Mr. Desrosiers stated this does not affect the Conservation, it is the Building <br /> Inspector and Board of Health. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stated the vegetated swale would be more acceptable to the <br /> Commission, <br /> Mr. Desrosiers stated the question here would not be on the surfacing but the <br /> design of the swale and retention pond. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated there are no performance standards for Land Subject To Coastal <br /> Storm Flowage under the Act, only the Bylaw. The vegetated swale is preferable <br /> and meets performance standards. There is no Justification for turrung it down. <br /> Mr. Ferguson asked if they would be willing to Put in the asphalt swale? <br /> Ms Frappier stated it is not Mrs. Cloran's choice. <br /> Mr. Sherman recommended against it. <br /> Mr. Ferguson asked to go on record as opposed, as to the extent of his comments. <br /> Public comments were requested; there were none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the amendment as proposed, <br /> Mr. Homeyer abstained. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AMMEDO <br /> 8:40 DR. THOW BROMS to permit and maintain an existing 42 ft. seasonal timber <br /> pier and 15 ft. stone ripr p in Mashpee Pond at 15 Sturgis Lane. Michael 'McGrath <br /> presenting with Dr. Brooks. A seasonal pier has been installed since 1979; the <br /> portion in fram the platform out will be rermoved. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers advised Dr. Brooks looked after him while he was in the hospital <br /> and would step down if there were any objections; there were none. <br /> Mr. McGrath advised Interim Approval has been received from Chapter 91 Bch is <br /> only good for one year <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked for proof it existed' in the footprint itis in now. <br /> J <br /> recorded copy of an affadavit was provided.
