The meeting was called to order with a. quorum present at 7:10 p.m. The proposed regulations were reviewed, Addition to Regulation 24 (definitions): The Department of Environmental Protection is preferred to as D. * . . This is a technical revision in that any reference in Chapter 172 to D.E.Q.E. will mean DEP. Revision to Regulation 1 : A consideration to change submittal requirements to allow receipt-by certified mail or by hand to the Commission's Administrative Secretary, Clerk, or Conservation Agent. This would allow for distribution to the CommLissioners sufficiently previous to the hearing in order that they may familiarize themselves with the filing. Plans would be accepted by hand to defray mailing costs. When received by hand, the application and plans will be stamped with the date of receipt and a dated receipt given to the applicant.
