Chris Costa presented abutter receipts and <br /> advised the property is under a real estate agreement to Mr. West. <br /> An area 60 - 70 feet back from Little River has a stand of trees, the rest of the <br /> lot is flat. <br /> Mr. Sherman requested the elevations and was told it is 14 feet at the street, He <br /> noted most of the area is within the 100 year flood. <br /> Mr. Costa stated half; they moved the septic out so that it is 200 feet from Little <br /> River and 20 feet out of the flood plain. wells were located in the field. The <br /> closest point was 104 feet. 'Minimal contour change is proposed. The 10 foot contour <br /> goes into the house. The biggest concern is to protect from erosion along the shore <br /> line. They propose to recharge goof drains. A pervious material is proposed for <br /> the driveway. They will mulch and plant any areas disturbed. <br /> . Sherman stated it is straight forward and flat; he had no problems with it. <br /> However, Board of Health has ,indicated plans were not submitted and therefore, the <br /> hearing cannot ,be closed. He referred to the treed area going down to Little liver <br /> where undergrowth has been cut and asked how they intend to maintain that area. <br /> Mr. Costa had given no consideration to this. Mr. Sherman stated it can be conditioned. <br /> Mr. Homeyer stated no fertilizers used or grubbing of roots. There are some grasses <br /> in there. <br /> Mr. Costa stated the grasses can be cut high with a mower and nothing disturbed. It <br /> is 60 feet back from the top of the coastal bank. <br /> Mrs, Simmons asked if there are any future dans for a path down there? Mr. Costa <br /> stated there would be to get to the pier that is there, <br /> Mr. Sherman did not see any path there now; it can be conditioned that any future <br /> activity that will disturb the ground surface will require a filing. <br /> Roy Swanson, an abutter, came forward to view the plans. He stated if measurements <br /> were correct, he has no problems with the project* It was noted stakes are in. <br /> i <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the area where the douse is going is a thicket now and asked if <br /> i <br /> there are plans for landscaping? <br /> Mr. Costa stated there ill be clearing to feet of the property line. Any trees <br /> close to the foundation will go. Mr. Sherman asked if they will revege tate and <br /> r this was unknown. He stated a regetation plan will be conditioned. <br /> . Desrosiers stated he would like to see the revegetation flagged. lir. Shennan <br /> stated a plan could be required prior to closing. <br /> Mr. Costa asked if the use of mulch would be acceptable and was told to get a <br /> letter so stating for the file. <br />
