Conservation Commission
January 14, 1991
Page 5.
is 62 feet. One correction, the ramp is 16 feet long, not 30 feet. The two floats
are 8 X 16 in an 'W" configuration.
Mr. Sherman asked if the applicant would want a provision for maintenance in
perpetuity in the Order of Conditions and Mr. DiGregorio stated he would.
Mr. Sherman advised notification to the commission that maintenance is being
done would be required.
Mr. DiOregorio advised in the DEP filing notification sheet it indicated the
project may require a Nater Quality Certificate. He called and learned DEP was
incorrect. For existing docks and piers, if no substantial increase, water quality
certification is not necessary.
Mr. Coffey asked if the discrepancy in the length of the ramp would create future
problems and was told the plan of record will be recorded t the registry.
Mr. York asked where the floats will be stared in the winter. Mr. McTevish advised
they are still in the water and he does not believe they will be removed.
Mr. Sherman stated it can be conditioned that they be stored properly, if removed,
ATE; Motion made and seconded to close the hearing under Chapter 131.40 and
continue to February 7, 1991 t 7:00 under the Mashpee bylaw to allow
renotification of abutters.
CLOSED UNDER THE S - CONIDIM TO FEBRUARY 7, 1991 UNDER THE MWLE BYLAW,
8:30 LIETTLE R1VER BOATYARD for an amended Order of Conditions under SE 43-889
to include one 2 ft. x 10 f t. float; 4 ft. addition to small bulkhead and comp-
letion of 24 ft. existing bulkhead at northern end of the property line.
Abutter receipts were presented and plans were reviewed.
Ni,-. Sherman advised Little River was asked to request an amended order as there
were changes on the approved plan, none significant. One wall was 8 Feet longer
than called for and an extra finger pier and bulkhead constructed. It was their
intent to include this in the original Notice. He does not consider that it in-
creases any potential problem to the environment. The other aspect is the Harbor-
master's shack which has to be pennitted. The purpose is to get the project in
compliance,
.
The Harbormaster advised the building and finger slip was built to accomodate
the town. - ihen the town came to Little River with a problem of where to put
the boats., they were very accom dating.
There were no comments from the public.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close the hearing and accept the amendments.
IN CLOSED.
BRADFORD WHEATLEY, Lot 11 'fide Run, Continued hearing. Dan Buckley
presented a plan with a Professional Engineer stamp as requested,
Mr. Sherman advised it was not staked for the on-site. He asked if the proposed
pool has decking. Mr. Buckley stated it will have brick. The previous approved
order with the pool approved an impervious surface. It is out of the ACEC. When
the subdivision was originally donee It was difficult to get this through because
f the setbacks.
