In 1966 the 8 x 10 stayed and a 6 x 16 added. Board of Appeals approval received for thepier being over 70' and 3 floats. The boat is tied up on the ,inside now. Boats are limited to those with 2-112 ft. draft. Ms Behrman questioned the 2,1 foot depth at the float. The Shellfish Warden advised there is a basin off to one side. This area was productive quahog bed, commercially viable, and it was stripped. It has been coming back with the help of seed. If this was a new application he would be against i t, At this length there is some scouring in the area of the floats. He felt this is more acceptable than 70 feet.
