She referred to an ephemeral stream and . tated it will change to it's original course if Left untouched. Ms Fantozzi stated the issue of the stream will be addressed. Re cranberry bogs and flooding, there is a request to amend the order of Conditions in order that one or two could be flooded to the benefit of the river down stream. Ms Slaymaker asked if the Commission confers with Barnstable at all? As an Agent, Mr. Sherman does have some contact. Mr. Mason asked if every time chemicals are appled there is a record? Ns Fantozzi stated there is a requirement for water testing, it is on file with the Commission. It has been required to dovetail with the Mashpee River Program two tines per year. She cannot speak for the Commission, but they get a copy of the results. Mr. Mason asked for sampling results on the Santui t River? Mr. Sherman advised the Comnission will be extending- the Order of Conditions and issuing an Amended Order. Input from the public is welcomed. M Slaymaker wanted the Santu.it River sampled also. Mir. Mason asked why testing is done on Mashpee River and was told it is because of nutrient overloading from septics. He asked what about concern for nitrates from golf courses? Mr. Sherman stated traces are negligible. Ms Slaymaker stated the Commission should talk to Barnstable re the Santuit River. When willowbend was first setting up, she discovered, because she was haunting the .k Town Planner's office, Willowbend presented one set. of plans to the Commission and a different set to Planning Board. She warted the Commission to be aware this sort of thing is beim dome. In the original meetings with the Commission, maintenance would be kept at the lowest level; what is being used is not being reported to the Comission. She asked the Commission to give an extension to willowbend to give everyone time to explore the i s sue s.
