Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 3, 2014 <br /> COMMUNICATIONS &CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Solar Enm Swmrt Defter to Govemor Elect: <br /> Correspondence was received from Jessica Colarossi of Environment Massachusetts,a <br /> statewide env ron ental advocacy organization via email dated October 27, 2014 <br /> requesting the Selectmen sign a letter in support of solar energy and urging over new <br /> Governor to embrace a goal of getting 20%of Massachusetts" electricity from the sun by <br /> 2025 on a path to clear energy leadership. <br /> Notion made by Selectman Richardson to endorse the environmental advocacy for <br /> solar energy and send a letter of support as referenced. <br /> Notion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes opposed, none <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Assistant Town Manager,er Torn Ma o - Dog Park: <br /> i <br /> Torn Mayo,Assistant Town Manager updated the Board with respect to the Mashpee <br /> Dog Park which is M* its final stages of design and engineenng. This week,the <br /> engineering firm is expected to finalize the cost estimates and plans in detail. With <br /> receipt of these documents,the Town will begin the MMU process with the Ming <br /> foundation. <br /> Upon completion of the MMU, a construction schedule will he developed, It is most <br /> likely the project will he completed this spring.
