To do that, individuals <br /> who own those lots could state in a letter that they will use the community structure <br /> or the association can come forward with a letter to state that the lot owners who do <br /> not presently have piers will always have a right to use the s t ruc tine. <br /> if there is no possibility of being a conmuffuity structure then he would recommend <br /> denial based on the prospective loss of shellfish habitat. <br /> Mr. Coffey stated Sabatia reported the area as slightly below commercial value and <br /> asked the results of Mr. Somerville's survey? <br /> Mr. Somerville advised it is definitely a soft shell area which would not be hurt by <br /> the structure but he is more concerned with the quahog area offshore. <br /> Mr. Coffey asked, given the quality of prodoction of shellfish in the area, if he <br /> would support this dock as the. closest thing to a common dock in the area? <br /> Mr. Somerville stated he would, if there is some way this can be considered a <br /> comity dock.
