(The Board of health is reserving judgement on <br /> that). Me state will be unwilling to put in any improvements if the present town <br /> parking lot dine is not restored as a buffer. <br /> B. Jean Thomas advised the South Cape Beach Committee cannot take a position. In <br /> the past they supported the land transfer. They have not seen the agreement that <br /> care forth a week ago. The final agreement will not be available until town meet- <br /> ing. The proposed strategy is to indefinitely pospone the article. The Selectmen <br /> must make the decision now with the third option for two years and a number of <br /> other it m , conditions use of the land; opportunity to tape it to town mneetin <br /> floor to transfer. The new town beach location will be managed by the state. <br /> The toim would have until 1993. Those .are the fine points not in the agreement. <br /> Ms Behrman stated the new beach location is going to be passively developed. The <br /> issue to be considered is whether the town wants to trade off sites or hold onto <br /> our somewhat problematic site sandwiched between a state facility and overflow <br /> state facility. <br /> Mrs. Thomas advised in the new location there will be permits for ten town resident's <br /> cars and sharing of 25 spaces there if the current location is kept. <br /> Mrs. Simmons stated in the long run the committee feels it would be best to restore <br /> the dune, <br /> Mrs. Thomas stated some members feel lana transfer should go along with the agreement. <br /> Mrs. Simons stated once the parking lot is broken up it cannot be replaced. <br /> . Coffey asked the statins on the sewage treatment and 'Title V. Mrs. Thomas <br /> advised the state is not ging to do that during the interim period and if the <br /> town opts to postpone, the Visiting center and septic will not be considered, <br /> only the passive gravel parking lots, trams, and walkways to the bead, will be <br /> done. She advised the coents close the day before Christmas. MacGregor Road <br /> is supposed to be the town's access to the beach, it should be reconsidered to <br /> make it pervious. <br /> Mr, Sherman asked if there was an addendum of more specific information to come on <br /> the septic and was told there is. He asked if they will extend the comment period's <br />
