S t
so long is because he hasn 1 t wanted to ahead and all of this because of
all the changes. Mrs. Debor said that if the Assessors Map shows. that it Is a
budable lot., it wbe grandfathered in.
4
Mr. Blakeman ascertained •that the road is not an existing blacktop and Mr.
DeSimone said he didn't know wben it's going to be put in. There are other houses
on Hili. Road, He said on Monomoscoy Road West there mist be 20 houses on 'it
from Ridge Road on and from Hill Road to Pine Ridge, no path going through 4W just
a bridle path going through - people use t to walk exp and downa if you take this
UPY it becomes Overland Road if you- go beyond Pine Ridge Road, there are at
leas-t nine houses on the road # one house sets directly in the m .dc a of the road
Mr. Buckingham said that his septic system is going to have to have 41 of dry
sand underneath his leaching area - that s why it I s important f or Phil Holmes to
find out the elevation and then it's up to hien to design a sys#Lem that will fit.
The distance between well and septic is no problem. He said DeSimone should ask
Phil ,Holmes ghat is required of a septic system in a flood plain: Mr. Buckingham
also mentioned that there has to be a check valve in his house so that in case of
flood, it will shut off. He thinks that where he gets his elevationj, some of the
questions wl be answered.
• y ti
Ms.' Eastman said she is interested in cm ervati n• and would like to help.
She was told she could become an associate member and come to any meeting.'
Nancy and Ronald Blakeman appeared before the Commission*' Mr. Blakeman
said that some time ago,, he came in hunting four this supposedly big map that
some CTA worker had dome a lot .of work preparing Barbara Sloane had told him
that her husband Peter doen It have it (the map) and he ascertained that Dierdre
Greel.ish doesn f t ha ve the map either. He said he knows that Conservation has
one, but it's not color-coned. Be said that the bigworking- copy apparently
was color - coded - Mrs. Blakeman said that she Mrd the working copy was as
big a the table. couple f weeks ago he was at CCPEDC and they said that the
1970 maps were seat to the Selectmen's office. The BIG MAP was done sometime_
after 1970 and prior to the Indian suit.
Mr. LeClair said that what was going to happen was that these different
areas were to be colored in different colors. Mr. Blakeman wanted to know where
the legend is for .1. these various things. Apparently Mrs. Greeli.sh had it a
one tie. Mr. Blakeman said that someone gave him a whole written .listings mn
bering and describing the areas. He pointed out that there is an error in his
own area in the written copy there is a big chunk that would represent about
six acres - theme's a five-acre parcel in there that's privately owned.
iMr. LeClair said that •the main intent was to apparently funnel federal
co nies into different recre tional areas m you didn It have to be too spec ie*c
the recreation areas were to be defined. Mr. Blakeman's tennis courts were
talked about - the fact that they were te, they wanted these defined. Mr.
Blakeman said that he would like to get this map scaled to our new zoning map
and thea do an overlay because these areas will show up. They might not be ex-
actly scaled, but it would at least start to fall in. It was mentioned that
after Christmas the Conservation Commission could make contact with the 'lan
ning Board
