4 M
Minutes of December 9, 1981 Page
4 -210, coat.
r. war ick: This is a fairly lame lot for Little Heck Bay. However, it is not the
highest lot in the sub vision. The nearest wetlands is on Lot 161 which is a par.-
cel of land which New Seaury has reserved which will never be used .for anything be...
cause of the marsh. , We are 85 feet from the marsh. We are going to have to fill this
lot as shown up to 10 feet.
Charlie: Will you have it drain back toward the road
Mr. Warwick: it will be higher than the road. We Dave a grade of 8 on the road. We
hit ground water at 4811 and that is another reason for the fill. I received my notice
from DQE and they have no objections,. The limit of construction is marked on the plan,
which is approximately 10 feet off the deck and also just outside of the fill. There
is a very gradual slope along there. It is about 40 feet. He could of built the house
up on the higher ground by the river, but it Just didnft make sense.
Pauline: There is an easement there,
Charlie. Is this actual to water? r
Mr. Warwick: This is the formula. Mashpee r Tjixes the formula the USGS formula)
Wa Asks what the formula is?
Mr., I arwick: Explains that here are various wells all over the Cape and they interpolate
between the wells, It is the new thing, If you hit ground water, it is same tomes a re-
quirement now that you use the USGS formula to get the maximum high water just because
you have observed ground water.
Mr. Tarabelli: The only thing that I would like to address the Board on is that there
are- no trees,, There is shrub and I would like to scrub it all. I would like to bring
fill in there. Our intent is not to build mediately. We would like to have the fi-11
compact for six months to a year before doing anything.
Mr. Warwick: Mentions ons that there are 1011 of sub-soil on that lot because there are no
trees,
Charlie: Asks if it will be on a slab,
r. Warwick: .Fust a crawl space and that is all.
Mr. Tarabelli: Mentions that they are excavating in the area and this lot would be a
good place to deposit good fill., I do wart to ret the Cession to clew everything.
Pauline: Tells We Tarabelli and Mr, Warrick that the Board will take it under advise-
ment,,
dv se-
ment.
11.
