N+ MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 14 , 1983 MAS HP EE TOWN HALL The following members of the Mashpee Conservation Comgmission were in attendance at tonight 's meeting: Charles Buckingham and Wayne Ta a es . Stuart Peoples introduced himself to the members- of the Commission stating that he was interested in serving on the board. He indi- cated that Selectman Terry asked him to meet with the members prior to appointment , George Benway met with the Board to discuss an overflow situation at the Bayview project Stating that the Planning Board and Charles Rowley,, the town engineer, want the overflow to be directly piped in- to the bogs . George mentioned that he was thinking of ars inverted pipe system and that -,he w uld design it and show it -to the Commission for review. George also mentioned that one of his clients wants him to look into getting a hellicpter pad approved to be built on the cranberry boa . He said that it would be 100 feet in diameter about about 3 feet above the level of the bog , He said that it would mean filling in with sand and no hard top would be used. He mentioned that he checked with FAA and they had no restrictions . George also mentioned that there would e no oil storage -ot any parking.' . Charlie said that he would like to know if there would be any gas drop or oil drop. Wayne said that he would life to know about compaction. George said that he would encrineer plans and yet questions ans ebred . Charlie suggested that he call Otis . As there was no quorum present , the following hearings were continued until September 28 : Dr , MacDonald. Otis Trailer Park ; h le-s Niren- berg , 80 'triton Way ; Gerald Kaplan , 30 Fells Pond; and Bertram Finley, 241 Waterway, Don Jermyn and Bob Hallet met with the Commission to discuss the fact that no base agreement has been signed for the bock. Mr. Jermyn men- tioned that he also needed a base quantity certificate showing the marketing allotmeb t allowEid to be ickec _ ronthe bog. Wayne set up a meeting with Mr, Jermyn and Mr . Hallet for Sunday , 5eptember 18 , to View the bog, Orders of Conditions for Marvin Glick ' s deck on lot 62 {eel Way and for David Smith ' s fill to be spread on lots 474 , 7 and 476 Monomosco r Road were prepared and are to be signed by a majority of the Board.
