a <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter 150 of the General bylaws of the Town of <br /> l ashpee by adding the following new Article <br /> .ARTICLE III—Street Name Signs for Private Ways <br /> 150-14 Provision of Street Name Signs. A sign shall be installed at each <br /> intersection of the way. Property owners and/or residents on a <br /> private way shall install and maintain a sign identifying the name of the <br /> way on which they own property and/or reside. Signs for private ways <br /> must be purchased through and installed by the Town Department of <br /> Public works. <br /> 150-15 Minimum Requirements* The lettering on the signs shall be a minimum <br /> of 6 inches high for capital letters and 4.5 inches high for lower-case <br /> letters. The sign shall be retroreflective. The legend and background of <br /> the sign shall be of contrasting colors. <br /> r. <br /> 150-16 Tampering with Street Name Signs.
