i <br /> } <br /> Mashpee Conservation Commission Page Two <br /> ' <br /> Meeting of July 26, 19.84 <br /> intended direction of the ,,run-off" is In two ways ; the roof area <br /> is intended to be re-charged; the driveway area and the area that <br /> e would be disturbing in front of the house will eventually drain <br /> into the wetland and anything that now drains into the wetland in the <br /> back of the house will continue to do so, Fill will be placed in the <br /> cont of the house and also ail onthe sides . (Mr. Costa indicated <br /> that this would be done in a similar manner as that of the adjacent <br /> hous 4 ) As far as any disturbance is concerned in the back of the <br /> house , the most concern is for the construction ofthe retaining <br /> walk.. Construction is proposed from the upland side which would <br /> cause no disturbance from the contour lire to the rear"' . <br /> In response to a question from Chairman, Studley, D1r. Costa stated, <br /> "The finish grade at the back of the house 's the existing grade <br /> between the 71 and 111 contour where sand and other appropriate fill <br /> will be placed which would mean about 3' to ' of fill" . <br /> At this polo nt, Chairman Studley asked if there were any further <br /> questions or discussion. Mrs. Thomas made the reminder that it is <br /> necessary that the Commission have appropriate maps and lot numbers <br /> and also all confirmation of notice to all abutters i Nor. Costa said <br /> that he had supplied the Commission with a copy of the Town Assessor's <br /> map and on that he had indicated and located the parts that he was <br /> working on and the map number and the lot number. He had also located <br /> the abutting reap numbers and lot numbers . He said that he also supplied <br /> a. list of all abutters with their corresponding addresses . said <br /> that he had notified the abutters by certified mail , return receipt <br /> requested and that out -of, fourteen such notifications ,, he had only <br /> received two receipts . <br /> Chairman Studley now stated that if there were nothing further to be <br /> discussed or brought forward n this matter, it would be taken under <br /> advisement, <br /> Edgard Keelan - 68 Shore Drive <br /> Mro Keelan appeared before the Commission and stated that he basic-- <br /> ally proposed to grade and clear from existing overgrowth the exist- <br /> ing bark to within 11 of the existing height, of the bank. lir. Keelan <br /> also proposes to buil.d a ramp and install stairs to the existing dock. <br /> Chairman Studley said that there was no indication that Mr. Keelan' <br /> Proposed plans had been submitted to DEQE9 i.e . there is no filing no, <br /> B. Jean Thomas stated that he has cone before the Commission with no <br /> definitive plans for his proposal, that for the purpose of an on-site <br /> inspection, it was. impossible to locate the area to which Mr. Keelan <br /> is referring. <br />
