Conservation Coz.s si on gage s <br /> Meeting of August 30, 1984 <br /> dictated a reply to the PlanningBoard - outlining their concerns , <br /> A cOPY of said reply is attached hereto and rade a part of these <br /> minutes . <br /> Reverting to the matter of the usage of John' s Pond Park and <br /> Beach, especially by the it taxy, Dirs . Thomas stated that it <br /> would be advisable and 'n the best interests of everyone 'involved <br /> to meet with military base personnel and discuss matters of noise , <br /> pollution and use of the beach area for maneuvers .on the future . <br /> It was the consensus of opinion that John' s Pond Park and Beach <br /> shout.d be made available ; however, certain guidelines should be <br /> outlined for the satisfaction of all concerned . <br /> In addition, the Conservation Commission members present felt that <br /> a memorandum, in wri. ing, should be forthcoming from John' s Pond <br /> Park Committee outlining their specific concerns regarding manage- <br /> ment, <br /> ana.ge- <br /> ent, licy and u age f the Park. <br /> As there was no further business to cone before the Commission, the <br /> iu <br /> 4 <br /> r e t <br />
