"
Ms . Dardano said, "Thenyou reallyneed to vegetate . There is nothing
else You can do, There is no existing dwelling."
r. Rosenberg said, "Unless the abutt#ng property owner does something
to change the contour of his land, he is not responsible to what
happens to your land."
Mrs . Kolb inquired as to the collapsed wall at the bottom of her land.
Ms . Dardano said, in reply to Mrs , Kolb, that if vhe vianted to fix
her wall on her land, she could submit a Notice of latent to do that .
She said, "We would probably let you re-work the rock that is already
there ; but we won' t let you add to it ."
Ms . Dardano said that there is also a problem of access . She said,
"You will have to figure hog you are going to get to the beach."
Mrs .. Kolb said (regarding access) , "New S abury Corporation said
beyond, not where you are in litigation with that section, but beyond
that they have a road to come down for emergency,"
Mr. Cook said, "In essence, You are saying that there is nothing that
you can do to protect her property."
Ms . Dardano replied, "Yes there is . You can vegetate, place hay
bales , put up snow fence or you can put up what we call a triple
barrier of staked hay bales, double snow fencing, and hay .-bales .
These should be staked and maintained tained and keep them in place and then
vegetate and keep the barrier there until the vegetation is well-
established. I continue to suggest cedar. "
Mrs . Thous asked, " r. Cook, are You going to file a Notice o
Intents 11
mr. .Cook replied , "What I wanted to find out tonight is what the views
of the Conservation Commission are . She really has a serious problem
there . I guess we f ll have to go back and try to Figure out what to do
here . It's a nice idea but pans of this problem, the hill, it is
almost vertical . There does not seem to be any realistic way to vege-
tate
ege-ta.te here ."
Tris . Dardano suggested that Mrs .. Kolb cut back her deck a bit to protect
from erosion the deck .
