MASHPEE CONSERVATIONCOMMISSION <br /> Meeting of November 8, 1984 <br /> The following members of the Board of Conservation Commissioners were <br /> present at thismeeting: Dorothy G. Studley, Chairman* March l ardor o, <br /> Vice Chairman; Pauline DeLorY6 E , Stuart Peoples ; Wayne Tavares ; and <br /> Be Jean Thomas . Douglas Boyd was present in aux advisory capacity, <br /> Chairman Studley convened the meeting at 7:45 P. Me <br /> Chairman Studley pounced that the Commission has received a letter <br /> acknowledging the request for adjudicatory hearing on the Dom Nopera <br /> property. The hearing will take place on November 21, 1984 at10 :.00 <br /> The next order of business was the issuance of a Compliance Certificate <br /> for project S3-287, for a pier that has been constructed at that site , <br /> This matter was presented to the Board by George Bem ay, Agent, at the <br /> meeting of November 1, 1984. Further information must be gathered before <br /> the requested action is taken. lex.. Boyd advised that the pier has not <br /> been completed according to plan submitted, There is a question of the <br /> pier_l_ent . - <br /> Chairman Studley stated that a notice has been recelo ed from BSC Cape <br /> Cod survey Consultants , agents for George Berkowitz . The notice stated <br /> that work will commence on this project on Monday, November 5, 1984 <br /> Mr. Boyd advises that material has been delivered to the job site ; how- <br /> ever, work has not yet been Started. It is Chairman Studley' s opinion <br /> that work should not have been started at all as the date from issuance <br /> of the Order of Cor tions has not elapsed <br /> Chairman Studley announced that a letter has been received from New <br /> England Telephone advising that they have received permission from the <br /> Board of Selectmen to place buried cables and conduit along Monomoscoy <br /> Road . She stated that Chapter 131, Section 40, Public Utilities are <br /> exempt and this is a job that will bury a cable approximate . 3" dia- <br /> meter along the hard surface of the roadway. She further stated that <br /> this ratter is outside the jurisdiction of the Conservation Commission. <br /> A request has been- received from Bennett Gordon, jr. for a Certificate <br /> of Compliance for Project S 3-339 for work completed at 1044 Uncle <br /> Percy's Road , <br />
