Wright - Continued <br /> It was agreed there would be no impact on the environment. <br /> HEARING CL SED - NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> VOTE Motion made and seconded to issue a Negative Determination to James <br /> B. Wright. Voted* <br /> OO - P. Sabatini - Request for Amended Order of Conditions . No one present <br /> for this hearing . <br /> NSE VAT-ION OFFICER: John advised he completed an environmental assessment <br /> r Leonard Sha i ngo l d and the removal of 21 trees. There are - trees on <br /> the lot 4 inches and greater in diameter at chest height. The ones to b <br /> left i 1 1 be the best trees. Some dogwood trees are to be pruned. The <br /> bank will be stable. <br /> 1n his opinion, the proposed cutting of the 21 trees is sound management <br /> but no herbicides should be allowed to be used on the stumps . <br /> NE AT 1 VE DETERMINATION, i no pesticides are used on the stumps. Permissi n <br /> i s granted for annual maintenance of the' s tamp . <br /> Winslow Heights Estates , Route 1 1 , at the site of the Old Winslow Nurseries, <br /> Some 50 years ago. they began f i 1 l i ng a kettle hole as a stump dump and DE E, <br /> Board of. Health and Eire Department are concerned with the. contents . The <br /> developer has been asked to remove this . firs . Anderson, the Health Agent, <br /> accompanied him this morning to view the excavation f this hole. The con- <br /> cern is there may be some DDT and other herbicides or pesticides buried. <br /> The kettle hole leads to a oma l l swa l e that is an ephemeral stream which <br /> runs into the water supply. DEE is aware of this and wi 1 l have a represent- <br /> ative <br /> -epresent- <br /> ative on s i to together with someone from the State F i re Marshall ' s Office <br /> and someone From Forestry.
