s <br /> Mashpee conservation Commission <br /> w+Meeting of September 12 1985 <br /> Page Three <br /> ex-officio member by the Board of selectmen. <br /> Geor .e Leach -- Eldredge Engineering Company, Inc . - Agent <br /> This application is to construct a single-family dwelling and under- <br /> ground utilities within a wetland buffer zone at Overland Road and <br /> .the hearing is continued from August 2 , 1985, <br /> Paul Mills , representative of the Agent , was present and submitted <br /> plans for the project. Chairman duPont tallied certified notices <br /> to abutters and proof of reciept cards before proceeding with the <br /> hearing. Motion was made by Elliot Rosenberg to hold the hearing <br /> as there were a quantity of abutters proven to have been notified. <br /> . <br /> Motion was duly seconded and unanimously carried. <br /> Nor. Mills stated that the proposed project is in a flood plain and <br /> is located on Hamblin Pond. He said that fill will be brouht in for <br /> the foundation. There will be approxi atel four feet F1111 , It <br /> is noted that "the building must c nfo=, to the construction require._- <br /> ire._ <br /> nt <br /> - <br /> r <br /> e s of a flood zone . . . as certified by an architect or civil <br /> engineer" . Mr.. Mills said , ��of e are specifying that an architect or <br /> civil engineer has to certify this pia we are not going to o <br /> that ourselves because the only person we had that was expert in <br /> that field died a couple of years ago and left us without anyone <br /> with that particular knowledge .
