Rr <br /> F, � .. r . <br /> MASHP ` CC S�RVATI ON COMMISSION <br /> Meeting of September 26 , 1985 <br /> Present at this meeting were : March du ont , Chairman; Pauline <br /> eL r r , vice Chairman; Gertrude Simmons , Louise Behrman and- Stuart <br /> Peoples . <br /> Chairman duPont stated that New Seabury Corporation has failed to <br /> file a Notice of Intent in relation to the emergency order of <br /> conditions issued by the Conservation Commission for work at Maushop <br /> Village on August 30, 1985. A letter will be written to the D part <br /> meat of Environmental Quality Engineering, attention of Brett Burdick , <br /> PhD. advising them of that Fact and requesting advice as to what pro- <br /> cedure should be followed o seek compliance . <br /> Grant W. and Olive C . S arrow - Cape & Islands Surveying Coop Ino* - <br /> Agent <br /> This application is to construct a sing]-le-fwmil r residence and septic <br /> system at Lot #178 Tim erla e Drive , l ashpee. David Sank i, rep- <br /> resentative of the agent , was present and submitted plans , Receipts <br /> of certified mail notification of hearing to abutters were tallied and <br /> as there were a sufficient number a ?d as most f those who had not <br /> returned their receipts were out of state abutters , the hearing pro- <br /> ceeded s scheduled . <br /> Mr. Saicki stated that this is a very small lot. The proposed <br /> dwelling is 54' #Torn the edge of the waters of Santuit Pond . He <br /> stated that the Board of Health is waiting for a decision of the Con- <br /> servation Commission before they give their approval for the propcsed <br /> septic system. Said system does conform withtleVe A gravel drive- <br /> .L. <br /> way is Droposed and will be constructed or. the slope and pitched toward <br /> the house . Concern was expressed by the members about well-digging <br /> gg g <br /> Bob Maxim, an abutter, spoke .at length about the detriments of this <br /> proposal s it affects the integrityf ,fie <br /> pond and the surrounding <br /> ecological., environmental considerations . He pointed out that the <br /> lot is only 11, 000 . square feet , the e too tank will be within 50 ' <br /> of the pond and it affects the zoning by-law. <br /> An Order of Conditions was written and will be issued with the follow- <br /> ing <br /> l.lo - <br /> ing pe ia.l conditions : THE, PROJECT WAS D.
