Mashpee Conservation ion Commis ion Dearing of the New Seabury Corporation re : hurricane damage at Held: October 24, 1985 Maushop Beach and emergency beach nourishment Chairman an du ont: "That doesn' t sound right to me ." Ms . Collins: "It was an access at the end by the Anthony cottage and material had been passed down. . ." Chairman du ont: "Oh. Not this area - Okay. We were confusing two areas ." Ms . Collins :, "This is all Maushop. 1f Chairman du on : "So it's on the other end. We"re not talking about the clam-shell road now." Ms . Collins : "The length of coast that we're talking about filling runs from that end d oin to the other. S o, if you are going to cast effectively, you're going to do it down the length of the bank. The Commission had instructed the Corporation -not to cast over the top of the bank in that area. If the Commission, in its wisdom, is changing its mind, then we could get something in writing that it' s possibility." Chairman du ont: . "It seems less destructive but. f . 1' Ms . Collins : "Thant was our point a year and a half ago,, but the Commission did not agree at thatpoint," Chairman du'Pont: "Is there any other documentation that you want us to consider?" Ms .Collins : "If you have a plan, otherwise , we are talking about the entire length of the coast of the Maushop Bank which runs from the Kolb property on one end to Rock Landing village on the other." Chairman du? o t: "We're going to consider the material presented and coresult with our legal counsel and also our consultant geologist and we'll get back to you in writing, " MS * Coll* L.- : s there a time frame on h s impiy because . . . " Chairman duPont: "I can't promise you something because it depends on what our counsel says and what our geologist says , I can't commit mi their time , We'll be in touch with them tomorrow. "
