Request for a Deter nation of Applicability <br /> on a proposal to do reseeding and regrading, installation of irrigation <br /> system, replacement of step system and maintenance of existing pedestrian <br /> access to beach at Maushop Village, New Seabury,, Peggy Fantozzi present- <br /> ing. The project is four pronged, revegetation of the lawn areas around <br /> the upland side of the cottages; hand regrading of an eroded area of the <br /> slope; provide a pedestrian access f wooden stairs; ani hand install <br /> throughout the cottage area a sprinkler system where reseedingis- to b <br /> dome. The work was originally permitted and ordered when the cottages <br /> cane before the Commission for relocation and reconstruction. - The re--* <br /> seeding did not take due to 'Insufficient irrigation, <br /> An enforcement order was issued for an erasion problem by cottage . <br /> Fill was paced under the order with haybales and snow fencing at both <br /> ends , Actual spreading of the loam by hard and reseeding has- not taken <br /> place. Reseeding under the enforcement ander would be done at the. s acne <br /> time. <br /> The stairway is proposed as existing steps have recently been condemned <br /> due to the supports . The Commission's guidance ls asked to hand dig <br /> in the supports to mace the stairs operative again. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg questioned the plans wherein stated the bluff is to be <br /> scraped with a Bobcat, Ms Pantozzi stated the plans are old and the <br /> regrading will be done by hand. The sprinkler system would allow for <br /> automatic watering on off barns of usage and controlled application <br /> of water, she further stated, <br /> Mr. Burns suggested building berm and questioned the width of the <br /> s is O <br /> Ms Fantozzi stated berm.ing is at the top of the bank with Rosa Rugosa <br /> planted, Due to concern for continuing erosion from runoff on the <br /> upper part of the village, it was ordered by the Commission that the <br /> whole surface be brought up and pitched hack. <br /> Mr. Burns. suggested plantings to cut-wf f access. Mrs. Fantozzi stated <br /> the plan is to control access by the five tread steps. 1r. Burns re- <br /> quested a profile of this, <br /> Ir. Rosenberg stated as there is no plan for the work as proposed, <br /> Notice of Intent should be filed, The stairway should comply with <br /> what the ]wilding department will require. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to issue a Positive Determination to <br /> New Seabury Corp.
