Crpe & Islands Surveying Co. ) A
request for determination of applicability for 31 Tritown Circle,
Dave Sani ki presenting. The site was viewed and based on the veg-
etation, it was their opinion no wetland was involved. This is a
land court parcel and so rewires that the wet l and be defined .
These are subdivision plans and there are no restrictions on this
lot. Nater has been funnelled into the area over the years due
to its natural low area,
John' s comments : Construction on this lot is by Dacey Homes and
he requested they file a request. The lot has a vegetated etf-
land on it which has been cut by the road Tritown Circle. Thi s
is a protectable wetland as dere is 2.5 feet of peat in the
foundation hole, He recommended a Positive determination. The
central reserved area i s also a wetland area,
Ms Behrr an stated , in her opinion if there is any more filling
and compacting action of the surface in the area there may be a►
problem with water backing up.
Resident of 32 Tritown Circle: His property is to the west of
the lot, He has been there since 1976 and there has always been
water in there, The road should not have -gone through tree and
there is swamp on either 'side. woks nest in that area in the
spring. He advised that if he digs down in the corner of his
property, there is water at less than two feet, He stated they
began to backfill before they had a permit and he' called the
Conservation officer. If they do get the permits .and backfill
in his propertyis low and he believes the water Will spring
up on his property. This is a natural spring that feeds Ashumet
Pond,
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to issue a Positive Determination
to Barnstable Holding Co.
Ms Behrman again requested correct scale on the- plan. Further,
concerning the pile of fill -site it was agreed a siltation
screen shall be pint in place around the fill at once.'
