Conservation Commission ,duly 14, 1988 ' PaSe 17. 3 - Hyman Mirliss. Request for Determination of Applicability. To place a fully constructed- 8 foot gazebo within the buffer zone of Johns Pond and to hand clean the beach area in front of hir property border on Johns Pond at Lot 86 Sunset Circle. Mr. Mirliss. presenting. An area of lawn was eliminated as one of- the terms and conditions with the construction work done this past year. It was mulched with . plantings in the permit and ars area in the center was plain so. they decided to put in a fully constructed gazebo. He was unaware he needed a permit or approval . During a prearranged appoint2ent with Lisa Hanscom to determine. how much be could- do with his beach to stay within the law, she. saw the gazebo and ad' i sed. a permit was needed. It is 16 feet from one Borer o-f the house and 56 feet from the -other. It is 50- feet from the water and is on concrete blocks. Mrs. Ferriday stated, at the onsite, we went to, look at the area of beach Mr. irliss wanted to clear and in order that we could understand d what he was going to cle-ar, he cleared. It.
