Conservation Commission <br /> August 11 , 1988 <br /> Page 9. <br /> Joel ZeSer expressed interest in becoming an alternate member~ of the <br /> Commission. He is self-employed as an industrial mechanical engineer <br /> in the heating/air conditioning business. It was suggested he talk <br /> with Town Counsel re conflict of interest. He was advised of non- <br /> voting associate memberships which are internally appointed.- <br /> : - Barnett. Berliner, Lots 18 & 19 Sturgis Landing., Numbers 7 & 1 <br /> were combined. The initial plan was for two lots and an Order of on-_ <br /> ditions - was issued. leave Sanicki- and qtr. Mrs. Berliner presenting. <br /> The original DEQE number was requested. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated the actual road construction is at the top. of, <br /> e <br /> lot:. _ It .is- an existing gravel travelled way, which will remain. Two <br /> separate structures were approved by the Commission. It .i now pro- <br /> posed to ,loin two lots into one. One structure -will be razed and one - - <br /> converted into-: a boat hoose:' <br /> Mrs-. Jacobs n, stated not to be -used as a guest cottage. Mr.. Berliner <br /> stated no, only for his sailboat. <br /> Mr. RosenberS asked, Lf they were tisking. the plumbing out. Mr. Berliner, <br /> stated its will be removed. -The dwelling will be hooded up- to a Title <br /> system. <br /> Mr. Burns asked what will, be done with a---platform not., shown.: on -the-.TM. <br /> plans and:. was told it will be removed. <br /> Pyr. Rosenberg- questioned- -the propose-d concrete walk to - the. boat house <br /> and asked-. i f it could be made, p rseab l e. Mr. Berliner agreed pressure <br /> treated wood will be used with appropriate, spacing.."=; <br /> {firs. Jacobson questioned a future driveway and was told no garage was <br /> shown but they propose to build a garage and drieway.," <br /> Ms ehran stated this must be, de l'i neated- ,on the plan,; access to the <br /> driveway must be shown and a notation of the platform to be removed,_.'. - <br /> Mfr. Sanicki pointed out drwells are shown.. <br /> Mrs. Siunons6 spoke of a. 55 gallon� drus and- asked how -it will -be- re,-- <br /> moved* Documentation of how it will be reuoved was requested and this <br /> was agreed to by Mr. Berliner. There was discussion of a gallons' <br /> pail and- it's . contents. r.-. Berliner will, hire . someone . to, remove. it.-- <br /> i - <br /> There was discussion of placement of haybales and Mr. Sanicki agreed <br /> they can be wrapped around. <br /> Mr. Berliner advised there is a stairway going down they would, like. to <br /> retain ownership of,- it will not be moved. Mr. Rosenberg stated this,. <br /> should be put on the plan. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson asked if there would be vegetation removed forward of <br /> the work 1 i v i t and was told n o. Also, no lawn areas are planned,'.,.-. <br /> It was established. -the gear for the boat, not the boat. i tse 1f will be.. <br /> kept in--the boathouse.. It wi.l 1 be labeled as equipment storage, not a <br /> boathouse. <br />
