IONS: No, we' re not trying to save time. oT KE: But then, again, l think youcouldn't just say blankly, with conviction, that me 'building a swimming pool within what's designated now as an ACEC ACEwould have ars impact on Waquoit Bay because the way it's currently defined in areas of New Seabury that are not really in the watershed area at all for 1aquoit Bay and will not have an impact and things like this will come out if you do a study to show that a swimming pool will not have an impact. I think it' s unfair to just have strictly a blatant cover regulation just saying no. People will appeal it; their neighbor has a swimming pool , they're building swimming pools now in the ACEC, why shouldn't they be allowed a swimming pool in the ACEC ACEtoo, especially if it doesn't have any detrimental impact. That' s wham we're trying to do -to sage tete quality of Waquoit Bay, the quality of the steel lfi shing in the Bay, the quality of the fish, the -quality of the marine life and all the other little elements that go to making up that resource. Approval for special permit under 5.1 non-conforming building and use received approval last night. The deck will be supported by supports angled into the wall with no posts on the bank and no destabilization of the bank. The existing leaching has been moved from 70 feet form sante i t Pond to a proposed 125 feet from the water. Proposed runoff will be directed into dry re l l s with no increased rku noff to the bank. Originally,, an ejector was shown to be relocated but at the Board of Health tonight it was agreed to abandon it and fill it in. A gravity system to the leaching is popsoed. Attempts will be made not to disturb vegetation on the outer portion of the barb .
