Frederick, F, Blythe, I Long. <br /> Absent: W. Taylor, K. Cayer, L. Patrick. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p,m, <br /> UPDATES <br /> Fred Blythe...met with the school committee last night-they liked the concept. <br /> 9 <br /> Greg Taylor will submit for engineering bids sometime next week. <br /> Fred mentioned that he and Wayne Taylor met with an architectural group from Portland, <br /> Main e. Thi s group made the approach and are interested in the prof ect. <br /> December end Bob and Fred to meet with National Guard at Town Hall. <br /> Gus Frederick,.,presented his proposal for Recreation Building for review, Gus <br /> I <br /> ndicated he'd he adding Louise Patrick's data when he receives it. <br /> Jim L n ...Jim stated if addition to Senior Center,,then it's estimated they'd need 50 <br /> more parking spaces. Current parking: 42-Regular; 5 Handicap. Estimate cost for <br /> adding 50 parking spaces: $35,000. <br /> Jim has the paperwork for the Grant; he's waiting for the feasibility study. <br /> Fred informed the Committee that in Connecticut 65.70% Seniors were using the fitness <br /> center. <br /> Gus Frederick commented that Cape Cod Rehab is very interested in hawing pool access. <br /> They cannot get sufficient pool time currently, <br /> Mike Horne.. Mike advised he already submitted a request for press box and for a van. <br /> ACTION ITEM <br /> November 20, 2000—After one o'clock at Selectmen's Office, Committee members to <br /> pick up copies of the RFP's and review them prior to next meeting. <br />
