Community Facility Needs Assessment Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday, June 21, 2001 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall—Meeting Room 1 <br /> Present: G, Frederick, F. Blythe, J. Lang, K. Layer, and M. Lorne. <br /> Absent: L. Patrick, and W. Taylor, <br /> Guests.- I Cahalane,and K. Marsters <br /> Audience'. Peggy Geary(Leisure Services) <br /> Presented: Borgmann Hendn'+Archetype(bh+a) <br /> A quorum being present, the meeting carne to order at 420 p.m, <br /> It <br /> Steve of bh+a began by showing the group the revised traffic flow they proposed. This <br /> shoved traffic entering from.the High School and exiting at the other side. Steve's <br /> presentation showed piecemeal haw each proposed site could be phased in. <br /> All attendees participated in very detailed discussions on all phases of the proposed site. <br /> Some of the key points are documented below. <br /> QUESTIONS/COMMENTS <br /> From Selectman Iarsters... <br /> Suggest in doing layouts ... keep it simple. <br /> Questioned size of proposed programs--in particular,the size of multi- <br /> purpose rooms. <br /> What would be costs of maintenance; insurance; etc.? <br /> Recommends having a pro-forma for each site. <br /> From Selectman ahalane... <br /> Should Library be considered to be part of this site? Library is looking for 0- <br /> 100 parking spots and 10,000 Square Foot Building. <br /> If Library were there, would septic system be able to accommodate? <br /> Commented regarding pool/ice rink/field house revenue possibilities: Does <br /> the Town want to go into this business? <br /> • <br /> What will be the cost for each building? <br /> If we run into a problem with this lard, do we have another site's <br />
