Blythe, J. Long, W. Taylor, K. Cayer, and G. <br /> Frederick. <br /> Presenter: Bargmann Hendrie+ Archetype (bb+a) <br /> Fred Blythe, Chairman, welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced Joel <br /> Bargnnann of Bargtnann Hendrie+Archetype bh+a), <br /> bh+a Presentation <br /> Joel Bargmann addressed the audience and provided a slide presentation on various <br /> options and possibilities for Town of Mashpee residents to consider. He stated repeatedly <br /> that the goal is to get feedback from the residents to know what they need and desire, He <br /> concluded his rescntati oxo by easing the floor to the audience to get their questions and <br /> p � <br /> comments, if any. <br /> QIX TIONS/COMMENTS <br /> ..,How many 44private"facilities ha bh+a done. <br /> Only I because bh+a's specialty is community projects. There are <br /> differences—for example, commurl�ty projects are geared towards social needs, not <br /> revenue. Private pro j ects are to generate revenue. Thus, serves profits role vs. <br /> programming role. <br /> Q... any same size as Mashpee <br /> Yes. Examples: Stowe, North Andover,Medfield. <br /> Q/C...Several questions/comments concerned using Bogs/Girls Club, <br /> Multitude of reasons this hasn't worked thus far. Attempts to get time <br /> scheduled not successful;an individual in the audience said they are having trouble with <br /> fids, including staffing. <br /> ...Repeated queries concerned costs of community center project- <br /> s <br /> roject <br /> specifically what does the 18M figure encompass` Is it building only- engineering; <br /> maintenance incltided in this figure; <br /> ..If Senior Center built, what would be done with current site? <br /> . .If we go forward, where will it be located? <br /> If single location, site behind trach off of High School is possibility. For <br /> larger fac i 1 ity, site not yet determined. <br />
