Mr. Talbot said that he would like to be found out by the ZB A what projects cane before there. <br /> What has been approved?Legal parameters' He said the Commission could make comments on them and <br /> run by thoughts with them, <br /> Mr. Santos spoke and mentioned the Board of Health, He said the Board had make <br /> recommendations to selectmen using compost on the soccer fields on Route 130. It could reduce water to <br /> 40%. He added that there were not a lot of inspectors all have to be-reasonable-that it was hard to enforce <br /> that. He also said that there was Free compost at the transfer station. <br /> Mr.Talbot said that the clients wart to see results.That irrigation was a big factor--daily <br /> watering--it should be staggered. because of water shortages. <br /> Mr. Green spore and said that the discussion has given thought to take something back to other <br /> committees and hoards.He wondered whether a representative front each or two. Gaining information <br /> shared to take back to hoards and committees. <br /> Ms.Dane asked ghat would Mr.Talbot see in town-regulations. <br /> Mr. Green responded that if the Committee put their heads together,they could work it out. <br /> The Chairman said that he would go to committees and will set up the different interactions <br /> without any problems. <br /> Ms.Kane said she would prefer a meeting within a Meeting,that Committee members were <br /> overwhelmed with meeting times, <br /> Mr. Talbot suggested five minutes of public comments and having some sort of interagency or <br /> board or committee should be on a.town-wide basis. <br /> The members of the Committee taped among themselves about having communications between <br /> the boards and committees. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Mr.Ed Baker from Pirate's Cove in Mashpee asked Mr. Talbot if there was a chance that Mashpee <br /> could have a program like Falmouth Friendly. <br /> Mr. Talbot replied that it was not a conventional landscape program. <br /> Mr.Baker asked if he was against it. <br /> Mr. Talbot replied that it would have to be promoted to the homeowners. <br /> Tom.Fudala,the Town Planner, said the best approach was laziness to encourage that,regarding <br /> homeowners who over fertilized their lawns. That the Commission could do whatever the town wants to <br /> do,instead of what the State says. That there was low-impact development all over the country. <br /> He said that the Town should put crushed stone in the front of the Town Hall building instead of grass. <br /> Discussion of Nettiott Items for Next l eetilig <br /> The Chairman said that he would suggest the Committee step back and do some thinking and <br /> spend the next meeting talking about action items instead of informational gathering. <br /> Motion: The Chairman made a motion to adjourn and so the Committee did unanimously <br /> (The February 23,2006 Town of Mashpee Blue ribbon Comprehensive Committee was <br /> thereupon dissolved at 9:30 PM) <br />
